Velvet

It was my first time going to Zouk ever since I came back to Malaysia. Have been clubbing in Melbourne almost every Friday night. Definitely do miss all my clubbing kaki in Melb!

However, I am glad that I have my locals to bring me to Zouk! I have never been in to Velvet on a Friday night. Usually it's either Vertigo in Gardens or once in a while if I do go to Zouk, we either go into Main Room or Phuture. But never Velvet.

It was fun they said. LOL.

Well,  I guess it's okay. Music is good but the crowd.... too packed? I need to go there again to really have a fair view of it. Some things happened that night. Thus, I am not able to justify it properly.

Heads up to all the ladies:

KEEP YOUR MOBILES AND VALUABLES WITH YOU AT ALL TIMES AND NEVER LEAVE YOUR BAGS UNATTENDED!
Not even for a second. Hold it at all times!

It is Malaysia, memang boleh.
So anything can happen even in the so-called best club in K.L.
Now, I understand why no one carries a sling bag in K.L. clubs. -.-"

Anyway, glad I had my closests with me. Much lovessss!

My two lovely babes - FFsssssss

Cheers! My favourite drink - Jagerbomb!

"Warm" Welcome Home

After staying in Melbourne for a year, coming back to Malaysia was a little tough for me because of the sudden decision. I didn't have enough time to prepare myself to be ready.

I was really reluctant to leave Melbourne but a tad bit excited to come back to Malaysia to see the family and friends.  However, things just didn't go my way. Maybe it was a sign that I shouldn't come back so soon?

The day I arrived in Malaysia, stupid blardy Air Asia gave me the worst service ever! They lost my check-in luggage bag. Yes, the big fat luggage bag. I was waiting really long for my luggages and only manage to collect one of it. I couldn't call anyone because my phone was locked. I thought it was the sim card that was giving the problem. So, I went and bought another sim card and it still didn't work. The malay worker, Azizol   wasn't helpful at all and he was in-charge of the 'Lost and Found' section for my flight.

I was already panicky and going bonkers and all he can say is sorry I can't help you. What kind of airlines/worker gives this kind of service.

M: This is ridiculous!
A: No, YOU are ridiculous!

From being panicky, I became really angry! All he can say is he can't do anything. Does this means anyone who loses their luggages can't retrieve their luggage if they can't produce their air ticket? Bulls!
I had to calm down and slowly work around it since he is being a total ass and I can't get my luggage bag.
Filled in some kind of form and left. Mum helped me to follow up on the process since I was just not in the mood of doing it and SO not in the mood of talking to that guy again. Malaysia, memang boleh -.-"

They only managed to get my bag back on Saturday. Apparently, it was still in Melbourne even though he said that it wasn't.

Lesson learnt :
1) Buy Air Asia Insurance
2) Keep ALL your tickets, boarding pass and whatsoever until you reached home and opened your luggages.
3) Don't fly Air Asia? LOL.

Anyway, enough of Air Asia. This is how I spent my last 3 days in Melbourne.
Mini Pita in Nando's for breakfast, made by colleague, Edwin.
My Nando's Russel St. boss and Rach!
My favourite meal in Nando's - Half chicken and coleslaw!
After work, Edwin bought me Chatime! Honeydew milk tea with pearls = yumms!
Meet my two young bosses from Nando's Elizabeth St.  One of the best bosses!

My colleague, Sanji treated me Indian cuisine for dinner!

Had my favourite milk hot choc with waffle balls at Max Brenner!
And Tutti Frutti Waffle!

Went for lunch with Vivi and Hwa at Flinders Lane.

Complimentary Meet Fresh's Taro Mania from tai ka jie.
Went to visit Yoko and Gan's Waffle shop at Victoria Market.
My complimentary Double Decker Waffle!
Do  like their page and visit The Waffle Club at Victoria Market! Looks good, tastes even better :)
Had a surprise visit from Lionel at work! My absolute favourite macarons from Puccino's!

Hopefully, Malaysia treats me better!

Goodbye Melbourne

It's almost a week since I got back from Melbourne. Was supposed to stay in Melbourne till December but sudden change of plans, I booked my ticket last Monday and flew back two days later. It was a real sudden decision that was made within one night.

Had a really short farewell to say goodbye to most of my close friends since it was with such short notice. IF only I had more time, I would have done so many things differently. I would have partied hard the Friday before and eat all I want.

This sudden decision had taught me to appreciate what I have and live life to the fullest every moment I get. Because you won't know what is ahead of you. I used to just say this phrase without having actual experience of it. But after going through this incident, it hit me in the head. You may not be able to see that person anymore or you may not be able to do what you wanted to do all because you can't foresee the future.

I was really glad that most of my friends came for my farewell. If I had more time, I would have done a few separate farewells but I only had 2 days. Thus, I had to combine everything into one. I thought not many would show up since it was so last minute and was in such short notice (1 day). But most of them came despite everything. I felt truly blessed and loved for having such friends.

It was really a shock for everyone that I had to leave so soon. I was still in shock till I arrived back in Malaysia. Now, Melbourne was just a dream. The best experience of my life till today that is.

My lovely and crazy sisters!

The little sister
Tai ka jie
We all have the same watch but unfortunately tai ka jie didn't wear hers that night.

I would like to sincerely thank those who came for my farewell and special thanks to Vivi Thiang for organizing the special event!

I miss you guys so much! <3 Hope to see you guys in December!

Yours truly,
