Hello readers! Back to blogging again. I know it has been a while since the last post but I have been quite busy adapting myself to the working life ever since I started my job.
It is definitely a different life and a huge change for me compared to before. I'm never a morning person but because of work, I am forced to sleep early and wake up early. Nowadays, bed time has changed from 3a.m. to 11.30p.m. Drastic change that had to be implemented immediately.
Lucky thing, I had my birthday to look forward to! Not looking forward to getting older, but looking forward to celebrate with my close friends.
This year I decided to do my birthday a little different compared to what I used to do. First of all, dinner with my girls at Opus, Bangsar. Unfortunately, Hwa couldn't make it for the celebration. It was our first time at this Italian restaurant after hearing a lot of good reviews of this place.
We had some sort of seafood platter as our appetiser. Clams, scallops, calamari, and prawns, all cooked with different delicious sauces. We also ordered their famous Aglio Olio with smoked duck meat, wild mushroom and asparagus risotto, and their seafood spaghetti. Their portions are pretty small so it would be good if you order a few dishes to share. Then, you can have a variety of food!
The girls ordered their famous chocolate soufflé with vanilla ice cream plus a 'M' candle just for me! Love them to bits! <3
2nd Round of celebration was at Neway Karaoke. Just a small get together with some of my friends to eat, drink, and sing! Had 3 cakes again this year - LV custom made cake, cupcakes from the sai mui, Ash, and Neway's celebratory cake.
The LV cake was too nice to be eaten and that we took a long time before we actually cut and ate it.

Last but not least, SHM! Attending my first rave on my birthday. I've always heard that raves are good especially Stereosonic but I've never been to one. Apparently, this time would be SHM's last tour and most of my friends were going to be there. So, I decided to check it out myself and join the rest.
Unfortunately, it was raining and drizzling most of the time. We were soaking wet waiting under the rain for SHM to come on. My curled hair turned into straight hair after getting wet from the rain. It didn't go as how I expected it to be and according to most of my party rock friends, it was quite disappointing and sucky considering how soft the speakers were and the earlier DJs weren't that good. They would suddenly stop spinning for a while and there were like moments of silence. Weird. All in all, it was the company that matters most. I still had a good time.
Felt so blessed to be turning 23 with you guys. Thanks to all of you for being here to celebrate my special day with me. My wish of having a meaningful birthday with meaningful people came true.
